New Source Review Permits
New Source Review (NSR) is a Federal Clean Air Act Amendment (CAAA) permitting program for new sources that are regarded as major sources and for major modifications to existing sources. AARC technical personnel have helped clients to determine the applicability of these Federal regulations to their facility and submit the proper permit documents for compliance. New Source Review in non-attainment areas requires an analysis of pollution control systems that meet the Lowest Available Emission Rate (LAER) criteria. The NSR regulations are undergoing significant changes and AARC technical personnel can help clients adjust to the new regulations

Title V Federal Operating Permits
The Title V is an operating permit for high volume emitters of pollutants. Obtaining a Title V permit is hard work, both time consuming and technically challenging. Our environmental engineers focus on Title V compliance applications, backed by experts in field testing, data analysis, equipment design, data management and training.

Prevention of Significant Deterioration Permits
Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) is a Federal Clean Air Act Amendment (CAAA) major source permitting program for new or expanding sources in attainment areas. The PSD program relates to specific pollutants and is required if these pollutants are emitted above certain levels. AARC technical personnel has helped clients determine PSD applicability and, in some cases identified strategies that may eliminate the need for PSD permitting. The PSD regulations are undergoing significant changes and AARC technical personnel can help clients adjust to the new regulations.
